WhatsApp Integration Returns!

WhatsApp recently pulled their app out of the Window’s Market, no specific reason was given but It was supposed that there were some technical issues in the app. WhatsApp now returns to the Store after fixing some technical issues. Maybe, the problem was that “WhatsApp was unable to handle notifications in the New Windows update”. Everything is now fixed with some new changes in the app.

WhatsApp has been working with Microsoft from a few days to fix those issues, and now they have released their app in the market with some additional changes in the new update. New update is having following changes:

  • You can now have Chat backgrounds.
  • Broadcast lists
  • Privacy settings (settings > account > privacy)
  • Media auto-download settings (settings > chat settings > media auto download)
  • Custom notification tones (Windows Phone 8 Update 3 requires)
  • Various enhancements and bug fixes

There were no exact reasons given, why they removed their app from the Store. Now you can download the WhatsApp again from the Windows Store and Enjoy your Chats with your friends

Windows Phone 8.1 With File Manager Integration

In our day to day life, we must browse through different files from our Computers and even through our mobile phones. That is the reason, “Why Popular OS have a File Manager?”. Microsoft worked on this issue and had finally released a File Manager into their latest version of OS i.e Windows 8.1

Microsoft named this as “File” and with this you can view any folder and files stored in your Internal storage or on your SD Card. As we all know that Microsoft is slow in releasing apps in their Store, but they were quite fast in releasing a File Manager in their store. It can be used for browsing, searching or launching files. It also provides you with the ability to share multiple files, create folders to organize your files, copy, move, rename or even delete your existing data.

This file manager is only available on Windows 8.1 platform. Windows 8.1 is not available for all the Windows phone by Microsoft, but soon it will be available on all the devices.

For now, you need to download “Files” for your windows phone but soon Microsoft will be releasing it with Windows 8.1 or other Versions of Windows.
